Express Vending Ltd, one of the country’s major drink vending machine suppliers recently moved to a new premises in Hemel Hempstead. It had an area of 1115sqm (12,000sq ft).

As part of their commitment to improving energy efficiency they carried out a thorough survey of their energy needs and discussed with ER HERITAGE ways that their new premises could be a comfortable place for their staff and at the same time offer the company savings in energy usage.

 

ER HERITAGE produced an EPC for Express Vending which showed that if the recommendations were carried out their building would get a “B” rating. The Energy Performance Certificate & assessment took three days from start to finish.

 

A property of similar size would cost around £ 1,200 + VAT for an Energy Performance Certificate.

The recommendations in the EPC assessment showed how he could improve the energy efficiency of his shop.
